About

FB_IMG_1466147030385For those of you who don’t know me my name is Jenifer and I’ve been married to my husband, Kirk for 22 years. We have three children, two daughters, Ariel age 25 and Kiera age 21, and son, Kylar, who will be 18 soon and starting college. We also have a grandson who is 3.

Kirk has always worked away from home.  He would bounce from city to city and state to state, so we decided that I would stay in one place with the kids so they could have stability.  He would come home when he could to visit.  Sometimes for a week at a time and sometimes for just a few days.

After our youngest graduated high school, 0518162141a-1we decided to hit the road. We put a few of our favorite things in storage, gave away or sold everything else, and became “homeless”. Riding from state to state as we can and living in hotels. Enjoying a new time in our lives, not just being empty nesters, but being no nesters.

Six years ago, Kirk was working in Wyoming, the kids and I went to visit him.  We saw all the beautiful mountains in South Dakota and all of the motorcycles riding around.  It prompted us to talk about how fun it would be to someday be able to take a motorcycle and travel around to the different places that he works and see the Country. When we talked about it, we had two kids still at home, no motorcycle, and no thought that it would really happen.  Well it is happening and I’m so excited that we can actually give it a try.  I am a little nervous that we will kill each other, being together all the time now in small hotel rooms after being apart most of the time, but I think it will be great once we get over the learning curve.
